RSS หรือ Really Simple Syndication เป็นบริการใหม่บนเว็บไซต์ภาษา XML ใช้สำหรับดึงข่าวจากเว็บต่างๆ มาแสดงบนหน้าเว็บเพจ โดยนำมาเฉพาะหัวข้อข่าว เมื่อผู้ใช้คลิกลิงค์ก็จะแสดงรายละเอียดข่าวในเว็บต้นฉบับนั้นๆ โดยที่หัวข้อข่าวจะอัปเดทตามเว็บต้นทาง ซึ่งการดึงหัวข้อข่าวไปแสดงนั้นจะมีส่วนประกอบทั้งหมดสามส่วนคือส่วนผู้ให้บริการดึงข่าว และส่วนผู้สร้างเว็บไซต์ใช้ทั่วไปที่ต้องการดึงข่าวไปแสดง และส่วนผู้ใช้ทั่วไป
